Lola, my Grandmother was amazing- the Matriarch of a Great Family, the owner of pharmacies, ice plants, plantations, theaters and more! She looked at you that certain way and you ran! She was an entrepreneur of the first order; my strongest role model. She always told me how important it was to never put myself in a position where I had to depend on someone else. So there was never a question that I would go into business. Lola instilled that in me from the beginning.
After a buyer at Bloomingdale’s suggested I turn a blouse into a nightshirt, I jumped at the opportunity to start a business. I am so very proud of what Natori has become over the past 32 years and am excited to look to the future as we launch the new Natori.com, Natori Fragrance, Bath and Eyewear collections. Lola would be pleased!

Josie, I love the history behind everything at Natori! It is so interesting to see where you got your ambition from and how the Natori Company was started from just a small comment by a Bloomingdales buyer!
